A sweeping staircase framed by elegance—this double-height entryway is a masterclass in connection and calm. Custom porcelain shells cascade from above, subtly linking the foyer to the upper level with sculptural grace.

A space that feels elevated, grounded, and entirely bespoke.

We always listen closely to our clients, so when we asked this client if she had any special family heirlooms, she mentioned a beautiful collection of antique decanters. Knowing her wonderful mom made the discovery feel even more special.

The inspiration for displaying them came from Rossnaree, an estate in Ireland, where I remembered seeing decanters beautifully lined along the fireplace mantel.

This is why travel and family heirlooms are so important in design. The most beautiful rooms aren’t simply decorated—they have history, soul, and a sense of the people who live there.

There’s something about a pocket door that instant

There’s something about a pocket door that instantly makes a space feel more considered.

In this room, a Roughan signature pocket door becomes part of the design itself—adding architectural interest while creating a seamless transition between spaces. Paired with sculptural seating, warm brass details, graphic ceiling beams and tailored built-ins, the result feels polished without feeling overly precious.
